If you’re after casual dining in the Downtown area, you’re in luck as a new Asian restaurant and Arabian lounge have both opened up. A second branch of Asian5 has recently opened in the new Al Murooj Complex, near The Dubai Mall. It has an urban, modern feel and street food eats.
The original branch of the chain set up in Dubai Airport Free Zone in July 2015, boasting healthy Asian street food from Thailand, China, Singapore, Vietnam and Indonesia. Popular dishes at Asian5 include nasi goreng, pad Thai, green curry, salads and wraps. This brand-new location will also offer breakfast dishes, opening at 8am. Interiors house graffiti-style paintings by renowned street artist Sumo. “The colourful, detailed patterns and funky style matches what Asian5 tries to do in terms of quality and flavourful food,” says the team at Asian5.
