Wow, you guys really are loving our new vegan menu…!

We launched it just under three months ago and have decided to expand it to meet demand…with three brand new vegan starters, a hot-off-the-hob Soba Noodle main and two mouthwatering vegan desserts hitting both our Downtown and DAFZA homes this month.

Launching tomorrow, 15 January, at our Downtown Dubai spot and in Februay at DAFZA, get ready to kick off your meal with our three new, delicious and healthy vegan starters.

First up, choose from two types of Shumai - Beetroot or Veggie - both wrapped up warm in an egg and dairy-free wrapper and priced at just 20AED. Both entirely homemade in the Asian5 kitchen and accompanied by our chefs own spicy chili oil, our Beetroot dim sum packs a punch with the freshest purple veggie alongside sweet potato and lemon zest - and its Veggie sidekick comes jam-packed with broccoli, Chinese cabbage and carrots.

Last but by no means least on the new vegan starter lineup is our new Vegan Skewer (just 18AED) - two tasty homemade chickpea and sweetcorn skewers with herbs and spices, served up alongside a creamy peanut dip.

AND…we’re also introducing a vegan version of an Asian favorite to our mains…Soba Noodles! These zingy noodles come served with baby asparagus and Shimeji mushrooms, and arrive next door to a fresh soy sauce (38AED).

Remember our epic coconut and pandan ice creams? They’re both going entirely vegan too (10AED)! Plus there will also be a vegan-friendly option for our much-loved Fried Banana Wonton dessert (19AED) - simply request that the banana comes encased in an egg and dairy-free wrapper and we'll serve it with our entirely vegan coconut ice cream, roasted cashew nuts and insane coco caramel sauce. Yum!

However, if you’re still not fully on the vegan train - we’ve added one more menu item to our very exclusive IF IN DOUBT HAVE THIS section…and that’s our brand new Beef in Stir-Fry Sauce (38AED), which comes alongside fresh pok choy, Shimeji mushrooms and carrots - and is one dish you certainly won't forget in a hurry!

Look out for all these newbies hitting Uber Eats this month too, so you look forward to them in the comfort of your own home or office.

If you have any other dishes you'd like to see added to our menu - vegan or otherwise - please do give us a shout. We'd love to hear your thoughts as there's no limit to the talent of our amazing chefs!

See you soon for vegan goodness galore.
